THE FAMILY

Marriage, children, work, school. Sequence of life, it flowing, the routine sometimes changed by camps, trailler, motorhome, motorcycle. But it becames impossible, physically, pay the pleasures of consumption ... The meaning to all this was no longer on earth. Not you, to us.

  If the dissatisfaction massacres and the unknown scares, worse is not act.

Chosen, since 2002, have as a house boat, drop the cables of the dock and all that they had a habit. Our reasons were different but the goal has become just one: quality of life. We made a package of our fears, of many ghosts in their hands and gave approval for the future. Would have any time to open each package and play it, just the little, the sea. Maybe replace it with our truths, our new achievements.

Had, in the year of exit, in ages: Fernando (43), Jane (45) Guilherme (20), Debora (19) and Carlos Henrique (17) and 23 years of marriage.

THE BOAT

His name is Luiza and all wood and is 46 feet long. A classic of the 70s, built for the regatta Buenos Aires-Rio de Janeiro, German Frerz project. All in strip-planking, providing a beautiful shape, tapering at the stern. Internally it fell precisely this area, resulting in two cabins, separated by 3 cylinder Perkins engine. The lobby, however, gained much of the area and living room combined with meals, kitchen and room for navigation and a nice space. Cabin wall with the front door and one bathroom.

Anyway, have more or less than 120 square ft, with few cabinets internally but many "granary" of the beds below. 8 persons for overnight shelters with some good will. To 5, with comfort for all.

Left the port with GPS, VHF, inverter, compass, radio, stove  and one small refrigerator, a gas-electric-battery. Two tanks for water making a total of 400 liters and tanks for diesel, a total of 120 liters. Of candles has a balloon, a Buja (with winder) and master.
